月日が経っても、この日だけは! [追悼]
1月17日。24年前の今日、それはそれは悲惨な出来事が起こった。
新聞では死者、行方不明者の数を随時報道していた。見出しには、近畿烈震、戦後初めて、などなど当日の夕刊は凄まじ事態を伝えていた。
見れば見るほどに胸が痛くなる。地震当日からの激動の日々を思い出す。隣近所では亡くなられた方たちも多い。その時の光景がよみがえってくる。
友人がこれらの写真を送ってくれた。震災の日から10日間分の新聞を残している。毎年、忘れないためにこの日に広げてみる、という。
今朝は手を合わせた。亡くなられた多くの方たちのご冥福をお祈りさせていただいた。合掌

My chest hurts enough to see as I see it. I remember the turbulent days since the earthquake. Many people died in the neighborhood. The scene at that time will come back.
A friend sent me these pictures. He left 10 days of newspaper from the day of the disaster. It is said that it spreads on this day every year in order not to forget.
