19年ぶりに・・・ [追悼]
「慰霊と復興のモニュメント」広場を訪れたのは19年ぶりになる。神戸三宮の東公園の一角にある。大震災後の2000年に完成、その年に行って以来である。
そこには、亡くなられた方たちの生きた証として「希望の灯り」が点されている。そして水が流れる建造物の地下には大震災で亡くなられた方たち6,434名、行方不明者3名のネームプレートが掲出されている。
このモニュメントは、全国からの寄付でつくられ、阪神淡路大震災で奪われたいのちと、生かされた人たちの思いが凝縮されたものである。
17日一夜明け、訪ねてみた。月日は経ったが、生かされているわれわれに出来ることを、出来る範囲で果たせればと思い・・・。
It was the first time in 19 years that I visited the "monument of memorial and reconstruction" square. It is in a corner of Kobe Sannomiya Eastern Park. It was completed in 2000 after the earthquake, it has been since that year.
There is a "light of hope" pointed out as a proof that the deceased people lived there. And in the basement of the structure through which water flows, 6,434 people who died in the earthquake and 3 name missing persons are posted.
This monument was created by a donation from the whole country, and the thought of the people living was condensed with the life deprived by the Great Hanshin-Awaji earthquake.
Dawn on the 17th, I visited. The days passed, but I think that we should be able to do what we can do to the extent possible.
